– Meetings generally follow a format similar to that of a Toastmasters club meeting, with an announced agenda that includes practice in parliamentary procedure, prepared and impromptu speeches and the selection of presiding officers.

What is the manual–are we using Pathways online like the regular adult Toastmasters group?
We use the legacy manual, starting with CC manual and CL manual. We do not use Pathways online due to our club status as “Gavel Club”.
Is the educational award transferable to a regular adult Toastmasters club?
– The answer is “No”. The adult clubs use Pathways module (online learning) while gavel club or youth leadership follows the legacy program using CC/CL manual and Advanced manuals. However, the experience that a youth member gained as a result of youth leadership program will significantly shapes the future for better interview and better communication/leadership needed in the society.
How does a participant progress in the Youth Gavel Club like us?
– Gavel Club participants can work their way to the top of the communication track, i.e. Advanced Communicator Gold. However, they can work up to Advanced Leader Bronze in the leadership track. Visit Toastmasters International FAQ for Gavel club here…
